Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Full Time • Hybrid • Mon-Fri Responsibilities
Lead Financial Reporting & Certain Month-End Close Activities: Oversees complex reporting tasks and accounting for joint ventures, Medicaid Transformation funding, and subscription-based IT arrangements. Collaborative Financial Analysis & Reporting: Partners closely with UW Medicine and entity leadership to deliver timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reports. Strategic Process Improvement & Systems Integration: Plays a key role in evolving financial systems and processes to support UW Medicine’s strategic initiatives and respond to industry changes. Financial Reporting Audit Support Accounting Close Technical Research Collaboration & Organizational Support Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field Minimum of 5 years working experience demonstrating familiarity with the process flow and functions of an accounting department High level of familiarity with US GAAP and GASB Advanced skill level in using General Ledger applications and supporting software programs, including Excel, and PowerPoint OR An equivalent of education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
