Position Overview Southcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endocrinologist to join our team, which includes four Physicians supported by four Advanced Practice Practitioners and three Diabetes Educators participating in the American Diabetes Association certified Diabetes Management Program in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will contribute to our tradition of practice excellence and play a pivotal role in advancing patient care in our community.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to diagnose endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal insufficiency, pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Monitor chronic conditions through follow-up visits, adjusting treatments and medications as needed, and coordinate care/referrals for complex cases.

Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists, including surgeons, nephrologists, and dietitians, for multidisciplinary care.

Opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary Osteoporosis Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution.

New graduates are welcome to apply.

Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.

Ability to obtain Massachusetts licensure prior to practice.

Current medical license and DEA registration.

Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.
