Gundersen Health System, based in La Crosse, Wis., is seeking an Interventional Pain Medicine physician to join the Pain Medicine Department. Your practice will be a mix of outpatient clinic and interventional procedures. Pain Medicine is located within the division of Neurosciences at Gundersen, and includes collaboration with Physical Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Neuropsychology. Call responsibilities are minimal, offering a great work/life balance.
The preferred candidate will be Pain Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Anesthesiology or PM&R. Expertise in fluoroscopically guided spine procedures, radiofrequency, and interventional modalities including work with implantable devices such as spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal delivery systems are required.

You will join 3 physicians and 4 advanced practice clinicians on the Pain Medicine team.

Applicants must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible in the stated specialty. They must also hold or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region without restrictions. Medical staff will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Outreach service may be required. Teaching students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff is a core part of our medical education philosophy and an expectation for all medical staff.
