Our Chicago dental practice is seeking a full-time General Dentist to start in October/November. Overview Our Chicago dental practice is seeking a full-time

General Dentist

to start in October/November. The ideal candidate is a skilled doctor focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and contributing to a positive employee culture. We believe that an amazing patient experience starts with an amazing employee experience. Our practice is located in downtown Chicago with easy access to Metra lines and public parking.

Responsibilities

Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.

Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.

Correct bite issues and overcrowding.

Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.

Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics.

Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes to examine and treat teeth.

Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the treatment rendered.

Manage positively and communicate with the team to provide outstanding care to patients.

Diagnose, treat, and plan for oral disease and the oral manifestations of systemic diseases.

Routine follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email.

Manage patient experiences and expectations to create a positive outcome.

Qualifications

Active IL state dental license (and malpractice insurance).

Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.

Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and thorough treatment planning skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.

Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.

Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.

Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance.
