$235,000-$365,000 A premier global law firm is seeking a
Structured Credit CLO Associate
with 2 to 4 years of experience to join its
well-established and high-performing Structured Credit team
in New York. This is a rare opportunity to become an integral member of a market-leading practice and gain substantial exposure to complex and high-value transactions.
The group represents top-tier international investment banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions on a wide range of transactions. While the core focus is on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), attorneys in this group also advise on: Securitizations across asset classes Asset-based lending transactions (both bilateral and syndicated) Structured finance vehicles and related regulatory matters Cutting-edge, bespoke financing structures for institutional clients This is a deal-intensive practice where associates are encouraged to take ownership, interface directly with clients, and develop deep knowledge in structured credit and securitization. The group fosters a collaborative, fast-paced environment with significant opportunities for career development and mentorship.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
2-4 years of relevant experience at a peer firm or in-house legal department working on structured credit, CLOs, securitization, or complex finance transactions JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial in mindset Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a client-facing, team-oriented practice
