As a member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for driving AMI’s account-based marketing strategy, industry visibility, and lead generation efforts. This role will partner closely with the Director of Business Development to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships, while ensuring AMI’s brand positioning and creative execution support the company’s growth goals. The Director of Growth and Brand will represent AMI externally at tradeshows, conferences, and industry forums, serving as an ambassador to expand brand awareness and strengthen AMI’s presence in the marketplace. This individual oversees brand strategy, content development, and marketing operations to deliver measurable pipeline contribution, return on investment (ROI), and alignment with AMI’s revenue growth targets. ResponsibilitiesGrowth & Market Visibility

Represent AMI at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events; proactively network to generate new opportunities. Build AMI’s visibility through speaking engagements, panels, and thought leadership. Partner with Business Development to hand off qualified leads and support pipeline progression. Collaborate with Client Services to identify and nurture existing client relationships with targeted marketing campaigns. Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

Design and execute ABM campaigns targeting key Fortune 1000 accounts. Align campaigns with account growth strategies and opportunities in partnership with Sales and Client Services. Track, analyze, and report on marketing-driven pipeline and ROI. Support RFP initiatives with branding, positioning, and collateral. Work hand-in-hand with the Director of Business Development to align marketing and sales strategies, ensuring seamless coordination across pipeline generation and conversion. Brand Leadership

Lead AMI’s brand positioning across digital, print, and event channels, ensuring consistency with brand standards. Manage and mentor the Creative Director, overseeing content and creative execution. Oversee marketing vendors, freelancers, and agencies to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. Provide compelling collateral, presentations, and proposals to support sales cycles. Support internal communications, client campaigns, and executive visibility. Operational & Cross Functional Support

Manage and maintain company marketing and sales data across CRM, automation platforms, and client portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support the development and execution of major company presentations (live and virtual), coordinating marketing content, branding, and logistics. Provide regular executive updates on marketing strategy, campaigns, and results. Management/Supervisory Responsibility Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with AMI’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. Other Responsibilities

Perform other related duties as assigned. Tradeshow and/or client visits are required Travel required for leadership meetings (minimum quarterly), tradeshows, and client visits. Qualifications/Skills

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent area of study or experience); professional or higher qualification in Marketing preferred. 8+ years in combined marketing and business development, preferably in meetings/events, pharma/biotech, or professional services. Proven track record in account-based marketing and lead generation. Strong executive presence; comfortable representing AMI publicly and at industry events. Experience managing creative teams and brand identity. Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation. Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work strategically and execute tactically. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Solid project management skills and a track record for delivery within a matrix and virtual team environment Strong writing skills, attention to detail and deadlines, and adherence to brand standards Excellent communication and team player skill, as well as experience managing a wide range of relationships with people at all levels within an organization, including global leaders. Flexibility to adapt to changes in role demands and responsibilities.
