The Director, Global Commercial Operations & Customer Engagement is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end commercial execution and elevating customer engagement across all our DTC global channels—retail, outlet, and e-commerce. You will serve as the commercial “nerve center,” integrating cross-functional teams to align execution with business objectives and build a best-in-class commercial ecosystem. Responsibilities

Translate strategic priorities into operational execution across global markets. Strengthen channel execution, pricing, lifecycle management, customer engagement and commercial performance tracking. Build executional discipline through tools, operating rhythms, and accountability mechanisms. Lead commercial performance improvement through insights, retail KPI tracking, and customer activation. Increase adoption of global frameworks, tools, and processes across clusters. Improve consumer data capabilities, insights and tactics to guide customer KPIs such as capture, spend and lifetime value, and retention rate. Support clusters in operational execution by removing bottlenecks, driving collaboration and execution excellence. Regular travel to global markets required to ensure executional agreement and capability building. Report to VP, Commercial Operations. About You

BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred. 10+ years of relevant work experience, including DTC retail strategy & operations, or previous merchandising, customer or omni-channel strategy positions within a business. Proven ability to operationalize and implement strategic initiatives that drive financial impact. Experience working with cross-functional teams to influence without direct authority and drive enterprise-wide initiatives. Strong financial modeling and data analytics skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and financial analysis tools. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop compelling executive presentations and decision-making materials. Passion for retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and operational excellence. This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $144,800-$219,300 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on location of the role and factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
