The Vice President role calls for a strategic and collaborative finance leader who will be a critical partner for Visa’s Global Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Finance, Legal functions and Digital Sales, XB business. The VP, Finance will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis, providing broad decision support analytics, identifying and evaluating investment and efficiency opportunities, and proactively managing expenses (over 2 billion USD of annual spend) for these Global Functions. This highly visible role will have significant exposure with respective Executive Committee members and be the go-to finance leader for these diverse set of Functions. Responsibilities
Oversee a high performing 15+ member team dedicated to effective financial management for Global Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Finance, Legal functions and Digital Sales, XB business Identify financial trends and define critical decisions to ensure the effective strategic management and allocation of resources and investment dollars to highest ROI ideas Drive an efficient and accurate Planning process, from detailed annual budgets, to Quarterly Forecasts, and ongoing risk & opportunity analysis Coordinate closely with Controllership and Corporate FP&A to manage the monthly close and conduct monthly & quarterly results analysis of business performance, as well as supporting the development of insightful Business Reviews of Marketing for Visa executive management Lead ad hoc business analysis and support the ongoing management of key initiatives and investments Enact a proactive, collaborative partnership between Finance and business teams, deeply embedding the Finance function into the business, assisting and driving financial management of their areas This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. QualificationsBasic Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications Professional MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience 20+ years of experience within the Finance function or with relevant experience in strategy consulting, or other analytical business support functions Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor Advanced level of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required Financial Leadership Drives sound decision-making through effective forecasting, reporting, and analysis of results and business drivers Expert at structuring, managing, and communicating complex analysis, working across functions and with multiple stakeholders Drives an efficient and effective process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives Creates meaningful and actionable performance metrics to drive accountability and ownership Ensures the highest level of effectiveness and continued skill development of the FP&A team Business Leadership Strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior executives Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with Function leaders and Finance colleagues Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence successfully within a highly matrixed organization Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders Collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities Team Leadership 15+ years’ experience in leading and managing a globally matrixed team Committed to developing a team and building a strong succession pipeline for the future Demonstrated ability to inspire a team with a strategic vision Ability to be an effective coach and have challenging employee conversations when necessary Additional Information

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
