The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across a variety of functions including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, onboarding, and reporting. This role requires a high level of proficiency with HR systems, particularly UKG, and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in all HR processes. The HR Generalist serves as a key partner to managers and employees, ensuring HR services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Pay Range
USD $45,000.00 - USD $50,000.00 /Yr.
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across a variety of functions including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, onboarding, and reporting. This role requires a high level of proficiency with HR systems, particularly UKG, and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in all HR processes. The HR Generalist serves as a key partner to managers and employees, ensuring HR services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Administer and maintain employee data within UKG, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute HR reports and metrics (headcount, turnover, PTO, compliance, etc.) within established timelines.
- Support the team with onboarding, employee changes, leaves of absence, and terminations.
- Ensure HR transactions and processes are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Partner with managers and employees to address questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and company requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in performance management processes, annual reviews, and merit increases.
- Support payroll processing through accurate data entry and coordination with payroll team as needed.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and leverage HR systems to increase efficiency.
- Maintain personnel records and ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 2-4 years of HR generalist experience required.
- Strong proficiency with UKG Ready required; experience leveraging HRIS systems for reporting and process improvement strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Pay Range
