Dusts and washes furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blindsMay remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specificationsStrips, seals, finishes, and polishes floorsCleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatmentGathers and empties trashWipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in breakroomCleans and polishes furniture and fixturesServices, cleans, and supplies restroomsClean overhead vents, dusts blinds, and polishes wood furnitureCleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegeesKeep janitors closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working orderRequisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaningQualificationsCustodial/janitorial experience - minimum of 3 years requiredPassing a pre-employment background screening will be requiredFingerprinting is requiredMust have reliable transportation
