Responsibilities
- Perform materials management operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order processing of all materials for internal and external manufacturing.
- Collaborate with laboratory and manufacturing personnel to ensure effective management of raw materials supply to support manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate disposition of all expired materials and maintain applicable documentation.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments per Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and non-GMP procedures, including but not limited to: Unpack and inspect goods received against purchase orders or invoices, update and maintain electronic and hard-copy records for received goods, reject unsatisfactory items, and stock end-user areas as necessary.
- Raw material ingression, stocking, distribution to GMP and controlled non-classified (CNC) spaces.
- Monitor and restock Kanban items in pre-defined GMP and CNC areas per SOP requirements.
- Assemble manufacturing kits per batch records and bill of materials (BOM).
- Monitor temperature conditions of refrigerators, freezers, and room-temperature storage of cGMP materials. This includes responding to alarms, as necessary.
- Perform inventory cycle counts.
- Review and update SOPs for supply chain processes as needed.
- Crosstrain in all Materials Management functions to ensure daily Materials Management operations.
- Adheres to appropriate PPE and safety rules.
- Adheres to good documentation practices.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, relevant trade certification, and/or some college or vocational training in Materials Management, GMP Warehousing, Distribution, or Operations with 2+ years of relevant experience; BS degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Flexible and able to manage competing priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of strong attention to detail.
- Able to work in a collaborative environment.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly and easily learn new applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Conditions
- Will require lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Will require working with hazardous materials.
- Will require work in controlled and cGMP Manufacturing environments requiring special gowning.
- Evening and weekend work may be required.
