Responsibilities
  1. Perform materials management operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order processing of all materials for internal and external manufacturing.
  2. Collaborate with laboratory and manufacturing personnel to ensure effective management of raw materials supply to support manufacturing operations.
  3. Coordinate disposition of all expired materials and maintain applicable documentation.
  4. Receive and verify incoming shipments per Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and non-GMP procedures, including but not limited to: Unpack and inspect goods received against purchase orders or invoices, update and maintain electronic and hard-copy records for received goods, reject unsatisfactory items, and stock end-user areas as necessary.
  5. Raw material ingression, stocking, distribution to GMP and controlled non-classified (CNC) spaces.
  6. Monitor and restock Kanban items in pre-defined GMP and CNC areas per SOP requirements.
  7. Assemble manufacturing kits per batch records and bill of materials (BOM).
  8. Monitor temperature conditions of refrigerators, freezers, and room-temperature storage of cGMP materials. This includes responding to alarms, as necessary.
  9. Perform inventory cycle counts.
  10. Review and update SOPs for supply chain processes as needed.
  11. Crosstrain in all Materials Management functions to ensure daily Materials Management operations.
  12. Adheres to appropriate PPE and safety rules.
  13. Adheres to good documentation practices.
Qualifications
  1. High School diploma or equivalent, relevant trade certification, and/or some college or vocational training in Materials Management, GMP Warehousing, Distribution, or Operations with 2+ years of relevant experience; BS degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  2. Flexible and able to manage competing priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Track record of strong attention to detail.
  4. Able to work in a collaborative environment.
  5. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly and easily learn new applications.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Conditions
  1. Will require lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  2. Will require working with hazardous materials.
  3. Will require work in controlled and cGMP Manufacturing environments requiring special gowning.
  4. Evening and weekend work may be required.
