Join our innovative team at Advantage Technical, as we are seeking to fill a Software Engineer position at a leading global electric vehicle company located in Southfield, MI.
Pay Rate: $80 - $85/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead security validation of vehicle ECUs by defining clear, complete, and testable requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including system-level and automated test cases.
- Build and maintain test infrastructure and automation frameworks.
- Document issues in detail and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
- Improve validation processes, testing methodologies, and product quality.
- Verify security features such as Secure Boot, OTP fuzes, Secure Update, and JTAG.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or networking product testing.
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, Shell, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with embedded Linux platforms and automation/stress test tools.
- Knowledge of automotive protocols (DoIP, UDS, LIN, CAN).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
