Facility:
This 170-bed hospital (including 24 ICU beds) is located on the south side of Indianapolis in Greenwood. The facility features 24/7 internal medicine hospitalist service and board-certified emergency medicine physicians, offering comprehensive care in a supportive environment with 20 beds in the department.

Job Details:
• Physician MUST be able to work 12/22/25 - 1/1/2026, with week on/week off (Monday - Monday) beginning January 12th, 2026 • At least 1 week per month commitment required in 2026 • General GI Hospitalist Model with 7-day coverage (Monday - Monday) • Bread and butter GI practice (no EUS/ERCP required) • Anesthesia/MAC available (no conscious sedation required, but available if physician is comfortable) • Typical shift hours 8am - 4pm (or earlier depending on census), followed by pager call • Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift • Required skills include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices • Must be able to perform PEG procedures, esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation • Small bowel biopsy expertise required • Lower GI endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required • Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube required • Must have a clean NPDB and no outstanding medical malpractice • ACLS and BLS certifications required • Must have active Indiana license or be eligible for licensure through IMLC • 90-day credentialing timeframe

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
