Job Summary The Associate Director, HR supports the human resource function through contributing to the development of strategic goals, ensuring alignment with human resource policies, actively participating in the recruitment process and talent strategy development, and providing guidance on policies to managers and employees. Duties & Responsibilities Recruitment and Talent Acquisition • Direct a team of human resource professionals to fulfill the talent acquisition strategy of the unit, setting priorities in consultation with organizational leadership. • Responsible for the overall talent acquisition strategy for the unit. • Responsible for talent acquisition, search, and recruitment efforts for roles at all levels in all employment categories applicable to the unit, applying historical knowledge and expertise of the unit's activities to all aspects of the hiring process. Management • Supervise a team of HR professionals. • Delegate and assign operational work; manage employee performance, leave, and professional development. • Oversee day-to-day human resource operations, ensuring compliance and successful delivery of human resource related services and managing limited budget/ expenditures. • Serve as a resource and liaison for human resource team. Leadership • Represent the HR function and operational needs as a member of the unit leadership team. • Advise and consult with campus leaders on human resource related matters • Responsible for the strategic development of unit human resource activities and performance, ensuring compliance and successful delivery of human resource related services. Classification and Compensation • Direct a team of human resource professionals to deliver comprehensive compensation and job analysis efforts for the unit. • Responsible for overall pay, leave, and classification efforts in the unit. • Advises staff at all levels of options and their implications, working with appropriate stakeholders to finalize resolution of complex or escalated issues. HR Compliance and Policy • Direct a team of human resource professionals to fulfill the compliance, appointments management, recordkeeping, and reporting needs of the unit. • Responsible for overall compliance, recordkeeping, and reporting efforts in the unit. • Advises and works with staff at all levels to finalize resolution of complex or escalated issues. Organizational Development • Direct a team of human resource professionals to fulfill the training, professional development, and workplace environment needs of the unit. Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree.

2. 6 years of work experience performing professional-level human resources duties.

3. 2 years of demonstrated management, supervisory, or leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications

1. 8+ years of work experience performing professional-level human resources duties. 2. Demonstrated HR team leadership.

Appointment Information

This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The annual salary range for this position is $100,000-$115,000. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position Application Procedures & Deadline Information
