As a Full Time Medical Assistant,you'll provide care to St. Jude's employees in Premise Health's, Health Centerlocated in Memphis, TN.The scheduled hours are Monday/Wednesday/Friday 7:30a - 4:30p and Tuesday/Thursday 9a-6p.

What You'll Do
Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
