About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for its Product Legal team, with a focus on consumer legal matters. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, fully remote team that is dedicated to the mission of accelerating the global adoption of crypto. This role is pivotal in shaping and shipping novel consumer products and experiences, including those related to crypto trading, payments, and on-chain integrations. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years' of experience in financial services law, particularly in the areas of MiFID investment services and relevant crypto-asset regimes. A strong product development instinct, regulatory fluency, and a crypto-forward mindset are essential, as is the ability to provide clear, actionable legal guidance to non-lawyers and product stakeholders. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have a pragmatic, commercially accountable approach to legal and regulatory risk, with a focus on providing stakeholders with a range of options and clear recommendations. The role requires a hands-on lawyer with outstanding analytical, drafting, and organizational skills, and a passion for crypto. Familiarity with the features of the company's products and those of its competitors is a must. Nice-to-haves include expertise in the MiCA framework for crypto-asset service providers and experience with AI tools for legal services. The company is an equal-opportunity employer and encourages candidates with a strong passion for crypto to apply, even if they do not meet all the listed requirements.
