Job Title: Junior Engineer / Lab Planner
Job Description
This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience with a global technology leader. The selected candidate will collaborate with the Lab Scheduler in the role of Lab Planner.
Responsibilities

Work within various software systems to manage schedules, including Smartsheets.

Understand the broader context of lab operations to effectively manage requests from teams.

Communicate scheduling commitments and constraints clearly to stakeholders.

Perform project management tasks related to scheduling, utilizing Smartsheets and other tools.

Coordinate the movement of components and manage test plans from engineering teams.

Identify and address potential scheduling conflicts, communicating effectively with Lab Managers and the Lab Scheduler.
Essential Skills

Experience with lab testing and project management software.

Proficiency in Google Docs and other collaborative tools.

Strong understanding of product testing processes.

A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience, such as internships, in an electrical lab or project management software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Genuine desire to support lab operations and manage testing schedules.
Work Environment
The work environment involves collaborating with various teams and utilizing advanced scheduling software. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Casual attire is appropriate for the lab setting.

This is a position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
