Interim Quality Director Needed near Quincy, Illinois

The Position An Interim Quality Director is needed to lead and transform quality and performance improvement efforts. Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer. Key responsibilities include developing and executing quality improvement strategies, leading metric reporting, assessing departmental quality processes, and partnering with nursing leadership to ensure compliance and performance. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in turning around quality programs, strong data analysis skills, clinical credibility, and a collaborative leadership style. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. Active IL RN license required. At least ten years of nursing experience in quality/PI leadership roles, preferably in acute care settings, including experience with Joint Commission or comparable accreditation standards.

Compensation Details

Compensation Range: $165,000 to $175,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
