Accounting Associate Job at Snelling in Baton Rouge

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of QuickBooks, general ledger, account and bank reconciliations, budgeting, accounting software
• 75% Accounts Receivable
• 25% Accounts Payable
• Financial statement preparation & financial reporting
• Prepare & examine accounting records, taxes & other financial reports
• Assist Administrator in business operations
• Provide excellent customer service to client and tenants

Qualifications:

• 3 years previous accounting experience required
• Previous property management experience desired
• AP/AR experience
• Knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Expertise with accounting software & reporting tools
• Communicative with strong people skills & ability to interact with all levels
