Assistant Director of Nursing (RN/LPN)
Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Urbandale, IA
Full-Time Position

Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join us as an Assistant Director of Nursing at our skilled nursing facility in Urbandale, Iowa.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, organize, and direct the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services Department

• Conduct interviews and screenings for potential resident admissions

• Review nurses’ notes to ensure accurate and complete documentation of treatments, medications, and resident conditions

• Make daily rounds to observe the quality of care provided to residents

• Collaborate with physicians and interact with residents as needed

• Assist the MDS Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising the MDS, including the implementation of RAPs and triggers

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing

• Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing leadership within a long-term care setting (ADON or DON experience preferred)

• Experience with the geriatric population is a plus
