As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.69 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.
- Document incidents and maintain detailed logs as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats within an aerospace and defense environment.
- Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during emergency situations.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
