The Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a SaaS/cloud-first, innovative, fast-paced technology team within Fidelity Institutional Technology supporting ICG Institutional Distribution. This team is responsible for all data movements to/from our CRM Salesforce platform, Oracle, Snowflake, and third-party vendor systems to deliver advanced data and analytics capabilities that delight our customers and help drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the Data Architects, Tech lead & other squad members and will be responsible for designing and developing highly performant APIs and building robust scalable batch solutions using AWS/Spring etc.
The Expertise You Have
BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems, or related field
6+ years of professional software development experience
Experience working towards delivery of application solutions operating as part of a larger ecosystem
Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
You have standout interpersonal skills
You have worked in an Agile environment
The Skills You Bring
Experience in Spring Frameworks specifically Spring security, Spring Batch and Spring boot
Experience in Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
Experience in design and development of REST API and Implementing Microservices
Experience with Automation Tools/Frameworks (Junit, Cucumber/JBehave etc.)
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, Cloud Formation etc.
Experience with SQL programming; building queries and stored procedures/functions
Experience with UI technologies (Angular, JavaScript or other UI framework) is a plus
Knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake and Python scripting is a plus
Financial services industry experience is a plus

The team is tremendously hardworking with a passion for technology tempered by a level-headed approach on delivering value to move the business forward.
Please see the below pay rate range for this position is: $62.68-93.75 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
