Job Details

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for projects ranging from $5M–$100M+.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate scopes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers and executives on bid strategies and value engineering.
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor or construction management firm.
• Strong background in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or multifamily projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Timberline, Sage, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar).
• Solid understanding of construction means, methods, and costs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
