Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager at Powers & Sons Construction is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects, while mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers. This role requires proven leadership in managing large-scale construction projects and developing talent within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
- Produce all elements of project execution plans and ensure effective implementation
- Provide jobsite leadership in the areas of safety and quality assurance
- Maintain satisfactory relationships with property owners, subcontractors, unions, and other stakeholders
- Mentor and develop junior project management staff and engineers

Education & Experience Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10-15 years of experience in lead project management roles on projects valued at $50-100 million or larger
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong technical and communication skills are essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office applications (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
