Project Manager – Land Development

Location: Dallas, TX

I'm partnered with a top civil engineering and land development firm in Dallas, which is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Dallas office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior-level civil engineer who thrives in leadership, enjoys managing complex land development projects, and is ready to make an impact on Dallas’s fast-growing communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage land development projects from concept through construction, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing technical guidance and professional development.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and city/county staff to move projects forward.
  • Oversee QA/QC, permitting, construction administration, and contractor coordination.
  • Balance multiple active projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles for land development.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, CAD, and related production software.
  • Experience with cost estimating, construction administration, and permitting.
  • 8+ years of civil engineering experience, including 4+ years as a Project Manager (or similar leadership role).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent with relevant experience).
