This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and support design, permitting, and client management efforts for a diverse range of land development projects, with a strong emphasis on K-12 school projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site/civil engineering projects from concept through completion, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control.
- Oversee stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
- Drive business development efforts, develop new client relationships, and maintain existing partnerships.
- Work closely with office leadership to manage project teams, develop growth plans, and ensure efficient staff utilization.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions across residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Integrate site/civil efforts with geotechnical and environmental engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to technical and proposal writing efforts and represent the firm in professional organisations and community initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of local experience in land development engineering, with preferred expertise in K-12 school projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex site/civil design efforts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience with business development and client management.
