The Principal, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis is a senior leadership role within Finance responsible for stewardship of the financial planning and analysis activities across Pantheon. This lead role is critical in guiding strategic decision-making by developing and providing comprehensive financial reporting, insights, forecasting and budgeting. Key Responsibilities: Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor, translating financial data into strategic recommendations to optimize business performance. Collaborate with department heads and functional teams to understand their specific objectives and provide reporting, analysis, and guidance. Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts based upon relevant scenarios and market trends. Monitor business performance, analyse variances, and provide actionable recommendations to drive better performance and/or efficiencies. Conduct deep financial analysis including revenue and cost analysis, profitability/viability assessments. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks in financial data, providing insights to support decision-making. Management Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and financial insights. Create dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support scenario analysis, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives. Lead and mentor junior members of the Finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment. Act within the Finance Senior Leadership team to create team culture and drive team-building engagement. Process Improvement: Continuously enhance financial planning processes, systems, and tools to streamline workflows, unlock new capabilities and/or minimize risk. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct). Knowledge and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA is highly desirable. Proven experience (8+ years) in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable recommendations. Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting software, and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning software is advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and contribute to overall business strategy. Hands-on willingness to engage and execute within a highly dynamic atmosphere. Expected base salary range:
