Job Descriptio n:

T he Electro-Mechan ical Maintenance Mechanic primary responsibilities, with safety in mind, are to maintain, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Possessing welding and machining skills is a plus. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in analytically determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in re storing equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing for a unionized plant.

Shift : 6p-6a will need to train on 1st shift

$32.74-$42.98/hr

$.50 shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

* Provides maintenance information by using CMMS. * An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems. * Use strong PLC trouble shooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude. * Read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings. * Maintain production equipment to a reliable level of production through preventative maintenance * Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

Requirements:

* 2-3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting Experience * The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair. * Must be computer literate with Microsoft environment. * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner * Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week

Military training and or Technical School preferred
