Civil Engineer (Entry Level) at EMCS, Inc. is a role focused on transportation engineering and highway planning. Responsibilities
- Contribute to highway planning and transportation engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers
- Assist with design calculations and drawing preparation in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Support construction observation, inspection, and administration on WisDOT roadway and bridge projects during the construction season
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop infrastructure solutions that serve communities
- Communicate effectively with teammates and clients to ensure project needs are met
Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- FE exam is preferred
- Previous experience in transportation engineering (professional or internship)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Valid driver\'s license
