Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week assignment in Glendale, California. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and neonatal care.

This unit includes LDRPN services as well as OB Triage. Candidates must also have circulating OR and PACU experience to support surgical and post-anesthesia recovery needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.

• Support and guide patients and families through the childbirth experience.

• Perform triage and clinical assessments in the OB Triage setting.

• Circulate in the OR and provide PACU recovery care as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

• Supervise and guide assigned nursing staff to promote excellence in patient care.

Requirements

• Shift: Night shift, 36–48 hours per week

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (Required)

  • BLS/CPR certification (Required)

  • ACLS certification (Required)

  • NRP certification (Required)

• Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred

• Experience:

  • Prior experience in an acute care facility – Preferred

  • Strong background in Labor & Delivery nursing with circulating OR and PACU experience – Required
