Bring forward these traits along with your strong academic nursing experience to play a lead role in our BSN program based at Atlanta. You will engage, guide & lead the management, delivery and continuity of our academic nursing program. You will shape & mentor a collaborative team, which will include Faculty, an Academic Success team, Skills Lab & experiential learning models. Ensure curricula are current and consistently delivered to meet the college's objectives. Help lead the path to assure our students are provided support services required to maintain the highest levels of student achievement and retention without compromising the integrity of the educational process. Responsibilities
Responsible for and accountable to leadership for academic strategy execution in coordination with national academic extended support teams for student success including first time NCLEX pass rates, student persistence, graduation rates, curriculum delivery and faculty & academic team engagement, student satisfaction. Accountable for the execution of the BSN academic strategy and program delivery, ensuring curricular and program outcomes are evaluated, monitored, and achieved according to standards. Lead the development of a cohesive, cross-functional campus academic team with specific objectives, action planning, and execution of the BSN academic strategy and student success model. Drive the implementation of the institution's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through classroom, laboratory, and clinical teaching and service to the College and nursing community. Plan and design faculty workloads that support the delivery of the BSN program, academic strategy, and teaching/learning opportunities to drive quality improvement and academic outcomes. Assess and evaluate candidates responsible for delivering the BSN program – including associate deans, academic support teams, and faculty. Ensure academic leadership creates plans for orientation & onboarding with regular evaluation/feedback on teaching & learning best practices. Oversee faculty schedules/workload and accountability measures, ensuring compliance with university guidelines. Develop plans for projects and goals in collaboration with extended support teams. Ensure access to and completion of course assessment data by local academic teams in collaboration with national teams each session. Demonstrate leadership for strategy development in coordination with national academic support teams for student success metrics and develop action plans to meet standards. Create a plan for FCAC participation, monitoring, and reporting. Collaborate on and be accountable for annual budgets for academic operations, including faculty positions, workload management, supplies, and instruction costs. Serve as resource, mentor, and policy interpreter for academic leaders, faculty, and students. Lead development and maintenance of new or expanded programs. Represent Chamberlain University professionally to external groups and the community. Foster a positive environment for faculty, staff, and students by modeling care-based attitudes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory regulations; act as liaison with state boards and regulatory agencies. Serve as program director or administrator for the state board of nursing as needed. This position is a designated Campus Security Authority. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards. Qualifications
Master's Degree in nursing required; Doctorate preferred. 5+ years of full-time nursing education experience, with at least 3 years in leadership. Strong interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, and computer skills. Ability to lead, advise, and communicate effectively with faculty and students. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive issues confidentially. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. High professionalism and integrity. Current unencumbered RN licensure and multi-state privilege in Texas. Additional Information In support of pay transparency laws, the expected salary range is $100,171.61 to $181,034.70, adjusted based on experience, location, licensure, and other factors.
