LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Tax Director for a dynamic and growing organization based in Akron, Ohio. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a seasoned tax professional with a strong foundation in public accounting and a passion for strategic tax planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of the client’s tax function, including planning, compliance, and reporting for federal, state, and local taxes.

Serve as the subject matter expert on entity taxation, including C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and other pass-through entities.

Develop and implement tax strategies that align with business goals and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations.

Oversee tax audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.

Mentor and lead a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and executive leadership to support business initiatives and transactions.

Qualifications:

CPA designation is required.

Minimum of 5 years in a tax leadership role, with extensive and current experience in public accounting.

Proven expertise as an entity tax generalist, with hands-on experience across a variety of entity structures.

Proven experience building client relationships.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay Details:

$150,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
