Overview

Senior Demo Builder Solutions Architect, Amazon Connect role within the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their technology domains, providing business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for complex challenges.

As a Demo Builder Solutions Architect within the Specialist Solutions team, you will join a dynamic team to develop easy-to-use, standardized, and reliable demo artifacts and enablement for a global sales organization. You will become an expert on AWS Applied AI Applications and develop demonstrations that help customers envision transforming their business. You will sharpen demo best practices and use domain knowledge to enable AWS and partner teams to deliver best-in-class demos.

You will collaborate with product, product marketing, and go-to-market teams to ensure demos reflect AWS innovation and maintain visibility across the business. You will synthesize customer feedback to inform the demo pipeline and AWS product roadmap. You will evangelize AWS Applied AI solutions and industry trends through public speaking, workshops, user groups, online videos, and conferences. You will create and share best practices and technical content, including demos, code samples, and reference architectures.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative code-based solutions for complex Amazon Connect use cases, leveraging and showcasing Applied AI
  • Create and publish high-quality technical artifacts including demos, sample code, and starter projects
  • Define coding standards and establish team norms for build projects
  • Own the technical bar for specialist artifacts and standards for Amazon Connect demos
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to develop RFx solutions and scalable enablement collateral for global sales and partner organizations
  • Understand customer goals and translate them into compelling solution demonstrations
  • Become an expert on AWS Applied AI solutions and prototype end-to-end solutions across contact center subdomains
  • Create mechanisms to streamline engagement processes between key stakeholders and use data to prioritize the pipeline of demands
  • Travel to meet customers when needed (less than 10%)

A day in the life

  • Contribute as a key liaison between services, GTM, and product marketing
  • Develop scalable demos/solutions aligning product vision with customer outcomes and highlight AWS capabilities
  • Partner with enablement teams to ensure demo resources are accessible and widely adopted
  • Support high-priority customer engagements using deep technical and domain expertise

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a solutions architect in global sales teams or equivalent
  • Experience with enterprise customer experience cloud technologies (CRM, service automation, data and analytics, knowledge management)
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Java, C#, .NET, Node.js)
  • Ability to influence customers and internal decision-makers through storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full stack development experience (React, TypeScript, modern web frameworks)
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI (coding assistants, productivity assistants, agentic workflows)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and unit testing frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to relate technical solutions to business outcomes through storytelling; experience selling to Fortune 1000/Global 2000
  • Ability to influence executives and internal stakeholders
  • Experience building demos for analysts and tier-1 marketing events
