Overview

To perform clerical and patient care support by registering, ordering, collecting, processing, distributing clinical lab specimens and/or performing limited non-complex laboratory tests. All incumbents grandfathered into job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Register and collect clinical lab specimens
• Process and distribute specimens
• Perform limited non-complex laboratory tests as applicable
• Provide patient care support as needed

Education And Credentials

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• 1 year of experience in phlebotomy in a lab/hospital setting preferred
• Graduate of certified phlebotomy tech program preferred

Working Conditions

• Department: BRMC Laboratory
• Standard Hours Bi-Weekly: 75.00
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Rotating Weekend
• On Call Required: No
• Scheduled Work Hours: 12p-8p
• Work Arrangement: Onsite
