The Data Analyst supports TSA’s Acquisition Program Management (APM) Deployment and Sustainment Division (DSD) by managing project tracking, schedule integration, and performance documentation across regional deployment teams. This role applies process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to support modernization of business practices and ensures consistency, efficiency, and clarity in deployment execution and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to modernize deployment and sustainment operations across DSD.
- Conduct activity and data modeling, assess workflows, and recommend improvements to streamline project execution.
- Develop and document modern business methods and operational standards that align with TSA’s strategic goals.
- Identify and apply industry best practices, performance measures, and benchmarking tools for continuous improvement.
- Provide group facilitation, lead training initiatives, and conduct stakeholder interviews to capture user requirements and feedback.
- Support the maintenance and analysis of deployment schedules, including integration into the enterprise Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Prepare deployment briefings, talking points, and performance updates for senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the creation and upkeep of key deliverables, including regional deployment reports, the 12-Month Look Ahead Report, OTA Master Lists, and SharePoint documentation.
- Collaborate with regional leads, project stakeholders, and data teams to ensure reporting accuracy, timeline alignment, and transparency.
- Support dashboard creation and validation to track the progress of deployment activities across multiple technologies and airport locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in federal project coordination, operational analysis, or process improvement.
- Demonstrated experience applying process modernization tools and methodologies in a federal or complex operational environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project tracking tools such as MS Project or similar.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels.
