Months per year: 6am-3:30pm
40 hours a week (seasonal position)

Pay Grade: Hourly Pay Rate $13.00

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Summary/Basic Function

This is a 40 hour a week seasonal position.
The Landscape Department is responsible for all WSU landscaping. Experience with weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, trash removal, and other duties are necessary to be a successful member of the Landscape Department.

Required Qualifications

Experience with weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, and trash removal.
Basic Computer Skills.

Physical Activity of this position

This position involves various physical activities including ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and maintaining equilibrium to prevent falling. It requires walking, standing, crouching, bending, moving about, lifting, and using upper extremities to exert force.

Physical Requirements of this position

Physical Requirements include medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Acuity Requirements

Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Conditions the Worker Will Be Subject To

The worker is subject to environmental conditions, including temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour, noise levels that require shouting to be heard, and exposure to various hazards including moving mechanical parts and chemicals.
