Overview

Warehouse Associate (Multiple Shifts) at Apex Systems — Fort Worth, TX. This is a 6-month contract plus extensions with potential to convert to full time.

Responsibilities

• Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents and note discrepancies or damage.
• Operate computer terminal to enter receipts and print labels.
• Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, verify quantity and product.
• Select box sizes, pack products, and route to conveyor line for quality checks.
• Label boxes and products accurately and ensure proper metering on the line.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards in the work area.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• High School education or equivalent with at least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures; some computer experience.
• Ability to multitask, strong organization and time management.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.
• Capability to use RF technology; forklift certification a plus.
• Knowledge of WMS/SAP preferred; familiarity with FedEx/UPS/DHL Power Stations.
• Typing speed 25-40 WPM.
