Job Summary

JCC is looking for a laborer with equipment operating experience for our heavy civil construction project in Bristol, TN. However, open to travel is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate pneumatic and electrical tools, concrete vibrators, compactors, concrete saws, cut-off saws, jackhammers, and heavy equipment.
  • Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel using a pick and shovel.
  • Lift, carry and hold building material, tool and supplies.
  • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other material using hand tools.
  • Join, wrap, seal and bed sections of underground pipe and pipe penetrations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience on a construction jobsite.
  • Must be able to understand verbal instructions.
  • Experience in operating heavy equipment such as a trackhoe, backhoe, loader or excavator is a plus.
