Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for an urgent locum tenens assignment at a newly renovated emergency department in Kenansville, North Carolina.

This opportunity offers a flexible August schedule for EM-boarded or EM-experienced IM/FM physicians to provide high-quality coverage in a well-supported, fast-paced rural hospital setting. The facility features a newly expanded minor emergency wing and a collaborative care team backed by EPIC EMR.

Facility Overview

• Annual ED Volume: ~27,000 visits/year (Approx. 80/day)
• Average Admissions: 11/day
• Inpatient Census: 47 Acute Beds
• Fast Track: Operational 12 hours/day in Minor Emergency Section

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certification: ABEM preferred; IM/FM accepted with proven EM experience
• Licensure: Active North Carolina Medical License & Unrestricted DEA
• Certifications (IM/FM only): ACLS, ATLS, PALS no exceptions
• Experience: Must be proficient in standard emergency procedures and high-volume care
