Job Summary:
The Accounting and Finance Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and present qualified candidates for accounting and finance positions. A background in financial analysis is preferred, as the recruiter will be required to assess candidates' qualifications, particularly for roles that require strong financial expertise. The recruiter will manage the recruitment process from start to finish.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify appropriate candidates and assess their qualifications through resume reviews, interviews, and other communications.
- Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment process.
- Maintain contact with candidates to provide updates on the status of their applications.
- Vet potential employees’ credentials to ensure they meet client needs, particularly in financial roles.
- Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their recruitment needs and deliver the best talent, especially for financial positions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Previous experience recruiting in the Accounting and Finance Industry.
- A background in financial analysis, with the ability to understand and evaluate financial qualifications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to assess and align candidates with specific accounting and finance roles.
Education and Experience:
- At least 2 years of related recruiting experience (preferred).
- A background in financial analysis or a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles is preferred.
