LHH is hiring for an HR Generalist role located in Newark, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days on-site). Start date is October 7th. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation is Up to $35/hour with a Temp-to-Perm opportunity.

About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People, Culture & Operations team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the go-to person for both administrative and operational HR support. You’ll play a key role in onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and facilities coordination—all while helping to shape a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR & People Operations: Lead onboarding and offboarding processes with professionalism and care
  • HR & People Operations: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • HR & People Operations: Support recruitment efforts and ensure ATS data integrity
  • HR & People Operations: Assist with updates to the employee handbook and internal policies
  • HR & People Operations: Manage employee contact lists and support HRIS/HCM systems
  • HR & People Operations: Coordinate internal training and professional development sessions
  • Administrative & Facilities Support: Schedule meetings and serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries
  • Administrative & Facilities Support: Coordinate building access, security requests, and postal needs
  • Administrative & Facilities Support: Maintain staff parking lists and ensure breakroom supplies are stocked
  • Administrative & Facilities Support: Manage vendor relationships and facilities contracts
  • Administrative & Facilities Support: Oversee inventory of office supplies and support general office operations

Pay Details

Pay: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
