Pay Rate: $45–$55+ per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

Phaxis Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join our educational team in New York. We currently have at least two openings, including a need for at least one bilingual (English/Spanish) SLP.

In this role, you’ll provide speech and language services in school-based and early childhood settings, supporting students’ communication, social, and academic growth. You’ll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to helping underserved children thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

  • Deliver therapy in 1:1 and small-group sessions (pull-out and in-class support)

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

  • Supervise and support SLPA staff (as needed)

  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)

  • New York State SLP License (required)

  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish strongly preferred

  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered with supervision, but 1+ year pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work onsite (no virtual/hybrid options available)

Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP – June 2026 (with possibility of extension)
