About the Role
Phaxis Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join our educational team in New York. We currently have at least two openings, including a need for at least one bilingual (English/Spanish) SLP.
In this role, you’ll provide speech and language services in school-based and early childhood settings, supporting students’ communication, social, and academic growth. You’ll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to helping underserved children thrive.
Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Deliver therapy in 1:1 and small-group sessions (pull-out and in-class support)

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Supervise and support SLPA staff (as needed)

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)

New York State SLP License (required)

Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish strongly preferred

Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered with supervision, but 1+ year pediatric experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Ability to work onsite (no virtual/hybrid options available)
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP – June 2026 (with possibility of extension)
