Position Overview

We are seeking a Site Superintendent to lead daily field operations on a water/wastewater treatment facility project. This role is responsible for supervising subcontractors and crews, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with project managers and engineers to deliver a high-quality project on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, and process piping systems specific to water and wastewater construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all on-site construction activities, including workforce scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and daily operations.
• Enforce strict adherence to project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Promote and enforce safety programs in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Oversee equipment, materials, and logistics to maximize project efficiency.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress logs, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison for project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to avoid project delays or cost overruns.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
• Experience with water/wastewater treatment plant construction highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and process piping systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and site operations.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Skilled in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in field documentation, reporting, and communication.
