Description: Candidate Type: CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist); AA (Anesthesiologist Assistant). Job Type: Locum. Disciplines: CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) or Anesthesiologist Assistant. Work Schedule: M-F 4x10's. A hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, has an opportunity for a CRNA or an Anesthesiologist Assistant to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 4x10-hour weekday shifts per week
• No call or weekend shifts
• Annual Volume: 600 open heart surgeries
• Cardiac cases
• Must be comfortable with open-heart surgeries
• EMR: Epic
• Paid travel & expenses

Rate: $250 per hour

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) or Anesthesiologist Assistant Missouri state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) or an Anesthesiologist Assistant program
• One year of work experience as CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) or Anesthesiologist Assistant
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
