Position

We are looking for a VMI Delivery Driver to join our team. As a VMI Delivery Driver, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers’ manufacturing process and capabilities. VMI Delivery Drivers can effectively support our customers remotely via our facility, but inventory replenishments and delivery will require an onsite visit.

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver product daily to a territory of customers and communicate with the distribution center on delivery status.
• Accurately replenish vending machines at designated accounts to ensure correct product and quantity are in the customer’s inventory.
• Load/unload delivery orders and ensure signatures confirming receipt and other appropriate paperwork are completed/provided upon delivery.
• Communicate with all customers in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Assist with other projects and duties when the business needs require.
• Quickly respond to customer demand for replenishment and additional product lines in their VMI programs.
• Maintain quality service levels and process efficiencies while providing for continuous departmental improvements.
• Coordinate effectively with local Field Sales, Sales Manager, and VMI Manager regarding customer accounts and best practices.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, load, pack, wrap, label, ship).

Required Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that can weigh up to 70 lbs
• Thorough knowledge of geography and roadways of assigned territory
• Customer-centric attitude and a desire to grow with and contribute to a customer-focused company
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and interpersonal
• Alert and professional appearance
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency

The Most Qualified Candidates Will Have

• Distribution delivery experience
