Hendrick Automotive Group is looking to recruit its next generation of Outside Commercial Vehicle sales leaders. Commercial Vehicle Sales Consultants seek out new opportunities to connect with corporate decision-makers and guide them to the cars and trucks that meet their business needs. Past B2B sales experience is preferred, and a winning professional attitude is required!

Summary:
Sells new or used vehicles at a profit to the dealership, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Meets dealership sales goals.
- Greets customer and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.
- Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive.
- Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase.
- Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
- Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including but not limited to, preparing sales slip or sales contract.
- Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle.
- Researches availability of models and optional equipment.
- Engages in business development.
- Addresses customer concerns.
- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Participates in required training.
- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
- Complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Desired Education: High School Diploma (required) or higher
- Field of Study/Work Experience: Automotive (preferred), Accounting, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology
- Desired Work Experience: Up to 3 years (preferred)
- Education/Experience: Prior sales and/or customer service experience desired.
Certificates and Licenses
- Valid Driver’s License
- Automobile Salesperson License (not required but may be preferred)
Skills
- Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products; ability to learn web applications for customer management.
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions; communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
- Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance; shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to talk or hear; stand, walk, and sit as required.
- Environment: Duties performed indoors and outdoors, including customer test drives; may involve heavy standing and movement around facilities.
- Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and deal with standard situations.
