Tele-Neurology opportunity - Baptist Health Medical Group

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a BC/BE Tele-Neurologist that resides in Kentucky or Indiana.

  • 1 daytime position and 1 nocturnal position.
  • Vascular neurology or neurocritical care fellowship training preferred.
  • Intensive tele-stroke experience preferred.

Tele-neurology services are provided for Baptist Health Hospitals, as well as free-standing Emergency Departments (EDs) and some local non-affiliate hospitals.

Shifts consist of a combination of acute neurological emergency care and non-acute care (including daily daytime tele-rounding and subacute consults), based on volumes and tele-sites.

  • Day shift providers (rounding + nonemergent call or emergent calls) must participate in a few on-call shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) distributed evenly among tele-stroke providers.
  • Night shift (on call) includes primarily acute call and a few subacute calls.
  • Flexible schedule
  • 12-hour shifts.
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
  • APP will be available to assist with rounding during day shift
  • Patient volume is variable
