Our client, a dynamic company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This opportunity offers a hands-on role in driving efficiency, improving processes, and working on cutting-edge packaging equipment. You will play a vital part in ensuring production teams operate effectively and adapt machinery for innovative cosmetic contract manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customer support teams on new cosmetic contract manufacturing projects.
• Evaluate customer packaging designs to ensure compatibility with production lines.
• Modify and retrofit packaging equipment to meet project requirements.
• Support automation initiatives to reduce labor and improve efficiency.
• Drive continuous process improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and manage detailed production routings, ensuring adherence by production teams.
• Work hands-on with packaging machinery to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
• Assist with equipment purchase specifications and installation processes.

Must-Have Skills:

• Solid experience with packaging machinery.
• Proven skills in modifying and retrofitting packaging equipment.
• Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ processes.
• Background in automation and equipment specifications.
• Strong understanding of routings and labor planning.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working with tubes in manufacturing processes.
• Continuous/process improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of cosmetic contract manufacturing projects.
• Hands-on experience with advanced packaging machinery troubleshooting.
