Job Description: Certified Welding Inspector

This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing and established company! This person will be responsible for supporting welding quality and compliance across fabrication operations. This role is responsible for inspecting structural steel, piping, and aluminum components to ensure they meet standards and codes. The CWI provides guidance to welding teams, inspections, and helps maintain the company's AISC and ISO certifications. A strong understanding of welding codes and a focus on quality and safety are essential to this position.

Requirements:

• Must have minimum 3 years experience as a CWI in Manufacturing, Construction or Metal Fabrication.
• Knowledge of Welding codes AWS D1.1, and AWS B31.3 required.
• Must hold current AWS CWI certification.
• Must have experience inspecting Stainless or Carbon Steel, Structural Aluminum, and Fabricated and Structural Piping.
• Must have lead internal Audits.
• Proficient with Microsoft office, word, and excel.
• Experience with Bluebeam software is a plus.
