We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, infection control protocols, and effective patient communication. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene techniques.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress using Eaglesoft software.
• Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in pediatric dental care, providing a comfortable experience for younger patients.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in general dentistry practices.
• Strong knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques.
• Excellent documentation review skills.
• Competence in using Eaglesoft software for patient management.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $42.04 - $50.62 per hour
